Brain Injury Services provides services to all of Northern Virginia including Culpeper and Loudoun Country as well as Fredericksburg and the surrounding Counties. Our organizational goal is to ensure every survivor has a productive and fulfilling life based on their personal plan. Our services include:

Since my daughter Maya’s brain injury, BIS has helped me understand and facilitate the Medicaid waiver my daughter needed to help me care for her at home. The waiver helped us financially with Maya’s frequent hospitalizations and doctor visits. BIS has helped facilitate my daughter’s physical rehab and was able to get Maya started sooner rather than later due to the long wait list. I have also learned how to better understand my daughters IEP (Individualized Education Program) and learned strategies of what and how to ask questions for services she needs to help her at school. Through the BIS Pediatric Program’s Annual Picnic, I have met several families coping with the affects of different degrees of brain injury.
