Volunteer Alexandria presents an Evening in the Heart of Alexandria, honoring all who volunteer in Alexanandria.
Date & Time: Thursday, Nov. 10, 6:30-8:30pm
Volunteer Alexandria is a 31-year-old organization in Alexandria devoted to fulfilling the desires of individuals to volunteer, and helping nonprofits and City agencies get the volunteers they need to complete their goals.
Each year Volunteer Alexandria recognizes members of our community who carry out extraordinary service that impacts the community as a whole. Evening in the Heart of Alexandria 2011 honors Brooke Curan and Nina Tisara. Both individuals have served voluntarily in unique, original ways that inspire us all.
This year's event chair is Vola Lawson, Alexandria's former City Manager, backed up by a wonderful committee of volunteers dedicated to making this an evening to remember. Join us at the Carlyle Club, 411 John Carlyle Street, Alexandria.
Your sponorships and donations are greatly appreciated and allow Volunteer Alexandria to continue our important volunteer placements within the community year-round. Seats at the event can be purchased by clicking on the appropriate box to the right. We get a notice from Razoo showing your name and contact information. If you are signing up several people you can email us with the names of your guests or we will contact you. For more about Volunteer Alexandria and our programs visit www.volunteeralexandria.org
